Camille Viotte, who writes the AstroLuma readings
Who writes the readings

Camille Viotte

I calculate the charts, I write the readings, I read them through and I sign them. When you write to AstroLuma, I'm the one who answers. There is no team: there is me.

Where it comes from

I built AstroLuma for myself first.

I was already writing charts for the people close to me, by hand, before AstroLuma existed. The child reading speaks to me as a mother: I wanted a tool that would truly help me understand my child — not just another app.

I shared it with a few friends. They asked if they could buy it. That is when AstroLuma stopped being a personal tool — and the way it is written did not change: every reading still starts from one chart and one person, never from a template.

How I work

The calculation is exact. The reading is written.

The calculation

Positions come from the Swiss Ephemeris — the same one professional software uses — calculated to the exact minute for the time and place you give. Fifteen points: the ten planets, the North Node, Chiron, Lilith, the Ascendant and the Midheaven. Houses use the Placidus system, except for a birth beyond the polar circle, where Placidus does not exist: the document says so there, and names the system that replaced it.

☉︎

The school

Humanistic astrology, the one Dane Rudhyar taught: a chart describes a potential to grow into, never a sentence. That is why you will find no prediction here, and no sentence that locks anyone into what they were born with.

☽︎

The writing, and AI

Every reading is calculated with the Swiss Ephemeris and written by me, with my own calculation and writing tools. I read it through in full and I sign it. Nothing goes out unless I have read it.

I say it plainly because it is true, and because one false sentence on this point would discredit everything else. What the machine makes possible: holding the whole chart — hundreds of crossings no human memory holds at once — and therefore this price. What it does not replace: the reading-through, the questionnaire, and your own judgement.

What I don't claim

Astrology has no official degree. I'm not going to invent one.

I can't show you a certificate. What I can show you is the work itself: four complete readings, in full, page by page, with no sign-up and nothing to pay. Read one before you decide — it's the only proof worth anything.
