Synastry — why does this person stay in your head?

Synastry doesn't compare two sun signs: it overlays your two entire natal charts. What draws you together, what blocks you, what each of you awakens in the other — and the pattern you replay together without seeing it.

If you've ever wondered

A reading that answers what you've felt for a long time.

Not a compatibility score out of ten. A reading that connects the dots across your two charts, written for the two of you.

Why can't I get them out of my head?

Why is this bond so intense when it's so complicated?

We're drawn to each other — what's actually going on?

Is it love, attachment, or a pattern repeating itself?

What does this person awaken in me?

What did my ex and I really live through?

What synastry reads

Not "compatible or not". What's at play between you.

♀︎
01 · Attraction

What creates the magnetism

Why this desire, this familiarity, this feeling of recognizing each other. The contacts that make a bond visceral — and that explain why people stay, even when reason advises otherwise.

♂︎
02 · Tension

What sets you off

Differences in rhythm, in need for safety, in ways of loving. These aren't flaws: they're two poles reaching for each other. Named, they stop being accusations.

☋︎
03 · Repetition

What this bond replays

The patterns that come back from one relationship to the next. What this particular person brings up for you to explore — old, but activated now, and by them rather than by anyone else.

♄︎
04 · Durability

What can sustain the bond

Where the bond naturally goes, what carries it, what drains it. Not a prediction: a reading of what you can actually work with, and what each of you has to learn for it to hold.

Seven bonds, one method

An ex isn't read like a partner.

The substance doesn't change: the same two charts, the same calculations, the same method — and the same price, because it's the same work. What changes is the axis of the reading, and it comes down to three questions.

A partner today

The reference version. The longest chapter is the one about friction: that is where the things you can actually work on live.

The intimate register is only written if you have both agreed to it.

An ex

The useful question isn't “who was he”, it's: what did this bond wake up in your chart, and where is it playing out again. The last chapter is no longer “what can last” but “what remains”.

Never the intimate register, and no forecast of reconciliation — in either direction. We won't sell you hope.

A parent and their child

The bond is asymmetric: the document speaks to the parent, never to the child. It gains a chapter the others don't have — the ages ahead: what will surface at seven, at twelve, in adolescence.

Sister, brother

The chapter on tension becomes one about rivalry and the family script — what was handed out before either of you had a say. And the closing question isn't “will it last”: it lasts. It is at what distance.

A friendship

Daily life is what carries the weight: a friendship dies of rhythm, not of conflict. What makes you think of each other, and what makes the gaps grow.

Work

“How to work together”: in writing or out loud, the format of your exchanges, the rhythm — and what this pair can do, and what it will not be able to do.

Nothing written here can be used in a hiring or performance decision: we describe a pair, not a candidate.

You choose the bond when you order, and the questions follow — if there is a hierarchy, we ask; if it is “other”, you say so in a sentence. Seven types, one price: it is the same work.

Who are you thinking of?

Nine bonds we can read. There are others.

People think of the couple, and stop there. The method works for any lasting bond — you just say which one when you order.

Another bond in mind? You describe it in one sentence when you order, and the reading follows.

The method

Two complete charts, overlaid.

Technically, a synastry means laying one person's sky over the other's and reading what the overlay reveals. Five layers of reading, in this order.

☉︎

The two sets of personal planets, overlaid

Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars: the five functions that make the daily life of a relationship. Their Moon on your Sun doesn't tell the same story as their Mars on your Moon — the first soothes, the second electrifies.

The aspects between the two charts

Conjunctions, trines, sextiles, squares, oppositions: this is the texture of the bond. Flowing aspects give the sense of obviousness, hard aspects give the charge. A purely flowing bond doesn't hold; a purely tense one burns you out.

VII

The activated houses

Which area of your life their planets land in: home, work, intimacy, thought. This is what explains why one person gets to you in one specific area and leaves you indifferent on another.

☊︎

The axes and the lunar nodes

Ascendant, Midheaven, nodes: what the bond comes to work on in each of you. This is where that sense of having been expected is read — the one that makes people say they already knew each other.

♄︎

Saturn and the slow planets

What structures, what lasts, what weighs. Saturn builds or locks up depending on how it's used; Neptune idealizes; Pluto transforms. This layer decides the length of the story more than the attraction of day one.

A dance between Earth and Water

Your relationship blends safety and intensity. One offers a sense of refuge, the other awakens a need for depth. The bond can be very gentle — and become heavy if each expects the other to repair an old insecurity.

What draws you together

An immediate emotional recognition: you may feel you've known each other for a long time. Camille brings the grounding Marc looks for without naming it. Marc opens an inner life Camille doesn't always let herself have.

What blocks you

Your rhythms aren't the same. One moves through structure and slowness, the other through emotional waves. Without explicit language, one experiences the other as distant, the other as suffocating — and neither is wrong.

What can last

The bond holds if you turn the intensity into clear words, not silent tests. If each learns to receive the other's way of loving without translating it into their own, the relationship becomes a real shelter.

Who it speaks to

This reading is for you if…

The first readings have just gone out: reviews will appear here, once they are real ones.

The reading

The written synastry, available now.

A custom PDF document delivered by email, built from both people's exact birth dates, times, and places.

The best synastries are read together. If the person is there, ask them for their birth time — and read it side by side.

I work on the basis that you have their agreement, and I ask you for it when you order. That declaration is what binds you — not me. Like an astrologer in a consultation, I work with the information I'm given. As for them, I collect nothing else: their birth details are erased as soon as the reading is delivered.

The real questions

The questions I get asked most about synastry.

Do you need both birth times?

You need both people's birth times for a complete reading — and it's the time that matters, far more than the precision of the place: one minute of difference already changes the Ascendant, while the town is enough for the place.

If one of the two times is missing, the reading is still possible: the aspects between your planets stay accurate, but some chapters will drop out (those that rest on the houses and the Ascendants). I tell you before writing, never after.

Does synastry say whether the relationship will last?

No. It doesn't predict, it describes: what attracts, where you rub each other wrong, what repeats, what holds the bond together. You come away with something to work with, not a verdict. Two very different charts can last decades; two very harmonious charts can die of boredom.

Does it work with an ex?

Yes, and it's one of the most common cases. Understanding why a bond was so intense, so unstable or so hard to let go of is exactly what synastry brings into focus. That said: the best synastries are read together — when the person is there, the best thing is to ask for their birth time and read it side by side.

What about a bond that isn't romantic?

Synastry reads any lasting bond: parent and child, siblings, a long friendship, a business partner. The framework is the same — what changes is which areas of the chart I look at first.

Do I need to know astrology?

No. Everything is written in plain English, and every term is explained at the moment it matters. No prior knowledge is needed.

How much does this reading cost, and how soon do I get it?

$39, in the currency shown for your country. The roughly 40-page PDF arrives in your inbox within 72 hours, in the language of your choice.

Where can I read more before buying?

My synastry articles are free to read, and they go deep: Venus-Mars aspects, what compatibility really means, why some bonds never quite let go. They're further down this page, and in the articles.

Is it written by an artificial intelligence?

Yes, and I say so proudly: it's what makes this depth possible at this price. The AI I use, trained on the humanistic method, holds together hundreds of connections across the two charts, no human memory holds at once. Every reading is reviewed before it's sent.
