The aspects, one by one
An aspect is the angle between two bodies at the moment you were born: it says how their two forces speak to each other — as one voice, in tension, or in harmony. Five possible figures, each with its own page, and the article already written when it exists.
The conjunction
Two bodies at the same degree. It is the strongest aspect, and the only one neutral in itself: it marks both the end of one cycle and the start of the next. The two functions do not look at each other, they blend — what comes of it depends entirely on who is joining.
The sextile
Two bodies a sixth of a turn apart, between elements that complete each other. It links without imposing: adaptation, flexibility, mutual understanding. Where the trine gives, the sextile offers — the opening is there, and it waits for you to take it.
The square
Two bodies at a right angle: a step to climb. The square forces you past inertia and makes you decide, usually under tension. It is the aspect of action, and it is the one that builds — in a chart, the squares are where someone made something.
The trine
Two bodies a third of a turn apart, the smoothest aspect. It flows without effort: the two functions understand each other, feed each other, and give ease wherever they fall. Its trap is that very ease — what never resists ends up unused.
The opposition
Two bodies face to face, at mid-cycle. This is duality, and it is also what makes you objective: from one side you see very clearly what the other lacks. The trap has a name in psychological astrology, projection — you think the problem is the person across from you, and the pull is inside.
An aspect is never read alone.
Your full chart holds dozens of them — it's the whole set, not one figure alone, that makes a character.
